After launching the Parisian kids company’s YouTube channels during her time as production manager, Amélie Oliveau will now oversee GO-N’s all-new digital department.

Parisian prodco GO-N Productions has named Amélie Oliveau as digital manager in charge of the company’s new digital arm. Oliveau moves into the newly created role after serving four year s as GON’s production manager.

Heading the new digital unit, she will oversee all of GO-N’s digital operations including the development, production and exploitation of content made for digital platforms like YouTube.

With four years of production experience on GO-N’s hit animated kids shows Zip Zip and Simon, Oliveau recently began the transition to digital having launched the company’s YouTube channels. Before joining GO-N, she was a production coordinator at Technicolor Animation and previously served in production at Fremantle Media. She was also a marketing assistant at ad agency Ogilvy.

GO-N’s digital growth is a continuation of the company’s global expansion strategy that began in January 2016, at which time former Genao production head Emmanuel de Franceschi was hired to helm GO-N’s new Parisian studio. The appointment of former Cyber Group exec Marie Conge as head of sales followed in September.

As for recent international broadcast sales, Disney Junior Latin America, Disney South East Asia and Cartoonito Italy are among a raft of broadcasters that have snapped up GO-N’s preschool series Simon. Distributor Jetsen Huashi Wangju Kids also recently picked up Chinese media rights to both Simon and Zip Zip, marking GO-N’s first deal in the region.
