SVT, DR, WBD’s Cartoonito and others pick up S5 of Simon Super Rabbit

SVT in Sweden, DR in Denmark and WarnerBros Discovery’s channel Cartoonito in Italy are among a raft of broadcasters to acquire the upcoming fifth season of animated preschool series Simon Super Rabbit.

Produced by Paris-based GO-N Productions for France Televisions, the 52×5’ fifth season is scheduled for delivery early next year. RTS in Switzerland, Hop in Israel, Belgium’s VRT and Tele-Quebec in Canada have also acquired season five.

Elsewhere, Germany’s ZDF has bought seasons one to four of the series for its children’s channel KiKA.

Simon Super Rabbit is based on the books by Stephanie Blake about a rabbit and his friends who play at being superheroes as they use their creativity and imagination to overcome their fears.
